Carramar Golf Course Estate a hit with home buyers

Carramar Golf Course Estate’s large blocks and natural surrounds are proving a hit among home buyers, with more than 30 new home sites sold in the past seven weeks.

To meet the demands of new home buyers – equating to a property sale every day and a half – Peet Limited has brought forward the release of 21 lots this week.

Priced from $217,000, the lots in Parkside Release 3 and stages 15 and 18 offer buyers good value for money, with a variety of lot sizes available priced to suit almost every individual.

Together with Peet’s Flying Start package, which includes a level block with retaining walls, where required, plus side and rear fencing (in Delamare Park precinct) and front garden landscaping, Peet Limited is making it more affordable for buyers to build a new home.

Peet Limited Managing Director and CEO Brendan Gore said the recent addition of the Federal Government’s First Homeowners Boost was enabling more people to join the community lifestyle at Carramar Golf Course Estate.

“The Federal Government’s boost is clearly encouraging first home buyers to enter the property market, with about half of our purchasers in the past seven weeks being first home buyers,” said Mr Gore.

“Affordability is always a key consideration in Peet’s residential developments, so it’s good to see more young people investing in quality estates like Carramar Golf Course Estate.

“Since opening in 1995, the estate has grown in leaps and bounds and its excellent planning and environmental consideration has been recognised by industry bodies such as the Urban Development Institute of Australia.”

Carramar Golf Course Estate has been awarded an Urban Development Institute of Australia (WA) Award for Excellence and a City of Wanneroo Environmental Excellence Award.

It boasts a convenient location between Currambine and Joondalup train stations. It also offers many recreational activities, being only minutes from the ocean and bordered by a picturesque golf course, Neerabup National Park and Joondalup Lakes.

A new community centre, three primary schools and a secondary school are also located within the estate. Construction of the $20 million Carramar Village shopping centre is currently underway and scheduled to open March 2009.

Birds-eye view on new Innisfail Estate Display Village

As the Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival fires up, so too will the activity at Peet Limited’s Innisfail Estate as it celebrates the opening of its new display village on Saturday 25 October.

Homebuyers, residents and the local community are all invited to enjoy an afternoon of free family fun, which includes a sausage sizzle, jumping castle, pony rides, face painting and merry-go-round rides.

From 11.30am to 4pm, visitors can also race in for free hot air balloon rides. The balloon rides will run weather dependent, and there are limited places, so visitors are encouraged to come early and to register from 11.30am.

Adults can also join the excitement by entering a competition to win tickets to the Melbourne Cup and viewing the new 14 homes on display at the estate.

Located on Sneydes Road, the new display village includes the latest in design by five of Melbourne’s leading builders – Simonds, Porter Davis, Clarendon, Dennis Family Homes and Hermitage Homes.

Peet Limited Managing Director Brendan Gore said modern and energy efficient display homes were one reason Innisfail Estate continued to attract home buyers.

“Close to three quarters of land in this master-planned community has already sold and the last land release, Stage 18, was very popular,” Mr Gore said.

“The accredited 5-star energy efficient home designs provide home buyers and builders with
the option to develop houses that provide long-term financial benefits of reduced energy consumption.”

Dennis Family Homes’ Area Manager Neil Hodson said good design and value for money could be found at its two new display homes at Innisfail Estate.

“The stylish Waterford 240 Resort and the popular Brookdale 240 Classic both showcase the
latest in clever contemporary living for couples or young families,” said Mr Hodson.

Porter Davis Director Anthony Roberts said the opening of its three stunning lifestyle range
homes merged both life and style with a truly functional and fresh result.

“The Francis, the Heywood and the Marina all demonstrate stylish, practical and inspiring
ideas with a particular focus on home entertaining and integrated alfresco areas,” said Mr
Roberts.

The Innisfail Estate display village is open Saturday to Wednesday from 12pm to 5pm on
Sneydes Road, Point Cook (Melway Ref: 207 D7).
