Parkside lifestyle on offer at Innisfail

The recent success of parkside releases at Peet Limited’s popular Innisfail Estate has resulted in the announcement that a further 30 homesites will be made available on Saturday 19 July.

Ideally located, a number of these homesites face onto future parkland, and all are in easy walking distance of the Stella Maris Primary School, Point Cook Play and Learn Child Care Centre and future public primary school.

Strong demand is expected for the lots, which range in size from 400sqm to 576sqm and are priced between $167,000 and $220,000, when they are released on site at the Innisfail Estate Sales Office from 12pm.

Peet Limited Managing Director Brendan Gore said while Innisfail was attracting a range of homebuyers, families will be particularly attracted to this latest release.

“Stage 18B is ideally located for access to areas of open space and all the childcare and schooling needs families have,” said Mr Gore.

“Innisfail provides homebuyers with an environment in which they can enjoy a relaxed lifestyle,” said Mr Gore. “This latest release represents a great opportunity for homebuyers seeking to join a fantastic community with all the facilities and amenities families look for.”

Being at the heart of Innisfail Estate means residents are just 20 kilometres from Melbourne’s CBD and also have easy access to established facilities in the Point Cook area such as schools, child care services, public transport, shops and medical facilities.

In time, Innisfail Estate will have its own village centre with shops and offices creating a community hub.

An added attraction for all purchasers is Peet Limited’s Flying Start package, which at Innisfail Estate includes fencing, water wise front garden landscaping and a $5,000 early settlement rebate – making it easier and more affordable to build and establish their new home.

The Innisfail Estate Sales Office is located at 9 Innisfail Drive, Point Cook and is generally open Saturday to Wednesday from 12pm to 5pm.

Young ‘green thumbs’ get Waterwise

Students from Pakenham Consolidated Primary School will officially launch their new Waterwise garden makeover on Tuesday 10 June, one of six new gardens presented to winning Victorian schools by Peet Limited.

The competition, designed to raise awareness of water conservation, received an impressive response with nearly 2,000 Victorian students across 23 schools participating.

Peet Limited uses water sensitive designs in all its estates, including local estate Cardinia Lakes.

The top three entries from each of the participating schools were put through their paces by the guest judges Melissa King, of Channel Nine's Garden Gurus and Darren Atkinson, President of the Landscape Architects Institute.

The six winning schools are in the final stages of garden makeovers, with students gaining a unique opportunity to contribute hands on with the planting of native, low maintenance, water wise shrubs and grasses.

Peet is a leading national diversified property company – an asset manager, land syndicator and property fund manager that has been trading continuously for more than 110 years.

Peet’s environmentally sensitive developments have earned more than 20 awards from organisations such as HIA GreenSmart, the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA), the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA), Greening Australia, Landcare and Waterwise during the past decade.

Peet Managing Director Brendan Gore said the competition fostered the education and awareness of sustainable designs for water conservation.

“By giving younger generations the opportunity to research, design and gain feedback on their designs and watch the project come to fruition, we aim to inspire students to be conscious of the environment and the difference that they can make,” said Mr Gore.
