Peet Limited is taking the edge off rising interest rates and mortgage stress with a $10,000 bonus for anyone buying land at one of their nine Western Australian estates between Wednesday 23 April 2008 and Saturday 31 May 2008.
The “Land a $10,000 Bonus” promotion launched this week gives buyers the chance to choose from four fabulous bonuses, each valued at $10,000.
Buyers will be able to choose one of the following four bonuses:
• $5,000 worth of backyard landscaping plus a $5,000 Bunnings gift card;
• $10,000 Harvey Norman gift card to assist in the furnishing of your new home;
• $10,000 Coles Group & Myer gift card will keep the groceries fully stocked even before you move in; or
• Your rent paid for six months (based on $384.62 per week for 26 weeks).
The bonuses have been individually designed to give buyers a boost in a very practical way – whether it’s everyday grocery shopping, landscaping, furnishings for the new home or even rental payments!
Peet Limited Managing Director Brendan Gore said “Land a Bonus” offered buyers some tangible assistance as they establish their new home.
“Peet recognises that it’s getting harder for ordinary singles, couples and families to realise their housing goal – whether it’s a first home, upgrading to a larger property or making a lifestyle change,” said Mr Gore. “So we’re pleased to be able to provide this kick start for buyers looking to move into one of Peet’s estates.”
“The bonuses have been carefully designed to suit a range of buyers and their individual needs,” he said.
The promotion is open to buyers at nine of Peet’s Western Australian estates including Ashton Heights, Burns Beach Estate, Carramar Golf Course Estate, Lakelands Private Estate, The Chase, The Ridge, Twin Rivers, The Sanctuary and The Village at Wellard.
Purchasers must enter into a contract of sale before 5.00pm on 31 May 2008 and achieve settlement by the date agreed to in the contract.
Peet Limited is national diversified property group that’s been trading continuously for more than 110 years.
It manages and markets around 70 owned, syndicated and joint venture estates in WA, Victoria, Queensland and, more recently, New South Wales. The company has the third largest land bank of any ASX listed property group – around 38,000 with an estimated on-completion value of $7.6 billion if sold at today’s prices.

$900,000 park offers priceless views at Burns Beach Estate
Sweeping views of the Indian Ocean and easy access to the coast are just some of the key features of the new $900,000 landscaped park at Burns Beach Estate.
Designed by award-winning landscape architects MNLA, the new park located in the northern precinct of Peet Limited’s award-winning estate is scheduled to be complete next month (May 2008).
MNLA Director Paul Broderick said construction of the park is almost complete with finishing touches to walls, paths and irrigation progressing well.
“The landscaping, features and materials of this park are a continuation of the elegant coastal design Burns Beach Estate has become known for,” Mr Broderick said.
The parkland itself comprises more than 6,000sqm of passive open space and almost 13,000 native coastal plants along with the incorporation of a groundwater recharge waterwise initiative.
Like all the areas of public open space at Burns Beach Estate, the new park has been carefully planned to complement 144 hectares of retained bushland to the north of the Estate.
In keeping with Burns Beach Estate’s coastal feel, the park features limestone walls, spectacular stonework and pathways that weave their way right down to the beach.
Residents and visitors will then be able to follow existing dual use pathways to the ocean’s edge and visit the fabulous lookout to enjoy views of the coast and out to sea.
Peet Limited Managing Director Brendan Gore said it was great to see more areas of public open space being made available to residents and visitors to the Estate.
“The new park is set in an ideal location towards the north of the estate and showcases some of the breathtaking views Burns Beach residents can enjoy every day,” Mr Gore said.
For homebuyers looking to enjoy this beautiful coastal lifestyle, there is currently a great range of homesites available throughout the estate with more releases planned in the coming months.
The coastal Stage 3 featuring some of the most sought-after land at the estate has been met with strong demand. Many of these homesites offer stunning ocean views and are all in great proximity to the oceanfront itself. There are now nine lots remaining with an average size of 635sqm and priced from $600,000.
Another current release in Stage 7 features homesites close to the future public primary school site and within easy walking distance of both beautiful parklands and the beach. These lots average 539sqm and are priced from $390,000.
For further sales information please contact Burns Beach Estate Sales Manager Gail Fischer on 9322 6734 or 0438 388 594, or visit www.burnsbeachestate.com.au

Lakelands hosts perfect day for winners’ cheer
A beautiful blue sky and flawless summer weather provided the perfect setting for an enthusiastic crowd to enjoy themselves at Lakelands Private Estate last weekend, but one lucky Perth family had an extra reason to smile.
100,000 extra reasons to be exact.
The scene was set for a nervous wait on Saturday (29 March) as Susan and Wayne Marriott and 19 other finalists – including Dawesville resident Megan Sanders and Nadine Sheridan of Halls Head – gathered for the final draw of Peet Estates’ ‘100 Grand for Land’ competition.
Nerves soon gave way to excitement as Susan ‘dug out’ the winning case in a special sand-box and dusted off a cheque for an incredible $100,000 towards a block of land at their chosen Peet estate.
Overwhelmed by their win, Susan and Wayne said the money will make it possible for them to move from Hope Valley to The Village at Wellard where they would be closer to their family.
But they weren’t the only winners on the day. Each of the 19 “runners-up” went home winners too – winning $10,000 off their chosen homesite at one of Peet’s nine Western Australian estates, if they make their purchase by the end of the year.
Peet Limited Managing Director, Brendan Gore, said the competition offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for all the finalists to secure their own piece of the ‘great Australian dream’.
“With interest rates on the rise and housing affordability challenging an increasing number of homebuyers, Peet Estates has created a unique opportunity to kick start the dreams 20 Western Australian families who want to live in a Peet estate but haven’t had the means to make it happen yet,” Mr Gore said.
“We are thrilled for Susan and Wayne and also for the opportunity to offer the other lucky finalists a great start to making their property dreams a reality.”
The competition capped of another eventful weekend at Lakelands Private Estate which saw scores of visitors enjoy the numerous activities put on as part of the opening celebrations for the newly constructed builders display village.
The display village showcases 21 new home designs from some of Perth most renowned builders with many styles specifically suited to Lakelands Private Estate.
A major attraction was Renew Environmental consultant Sarah Molloy, who provided residents and visitors to the estate with expert advice on water-wise measures for the home and garden.
Next weekend, 4 Rooms Interior Design Consultant Jane Fyfe will be on hand from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday 5 April and Sunday 6 April to offer Perth homeowners a little design inspiration and expert design advice.
The whole community is invited to join the celebration and enjoy the host of activities at Lakelands Private Estate this weekend, including face-painting, an animal petting farm and roving bands.
